1st Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival,

took place October 21st-25th, 2012 in Palma de Mallorca. The main Festival location was the Cinema Sala Augusta. The program included 27 films from 15 countries picked out of 350 submissions. The Opening Film was La Voz Dormida by Spanish film director Benito Zambrano. Special EMIFF guests also included; Ana de Armas, Marc Clotet, Maria León and Manuela Vellés. The closing night film was Buscando a Eimish by spanish director Ana Rodriguez Rosell. 500 people attended the festival; premiers, Cafe con cine at Rialto Living and networking events at Otto Mare and Finca Hotel Can Coll.
